Since I am experienced on estate planning, probate, estate administration, and tax law matters, I will gladly assist you in the accurate and efficient planning of your estate and/or administration of other individuals' estates or trusts.
Regardless of the value of your assets, you should designate a person who, in the event of your incapacity, will have the authority to manage your assets and to make health care decisions on your behalf. You should also appoint persons or entities to have the authority to arrange for the disposition of your remains and to manage and distribute your assets upon your death. If you have minor children, you should legally express your wishes regarding the appointment of guardians, to care and provide for your children.
During our consultation, I will listen intently to your wishes and desires regarding the distribution of your assets. Also, depending on your personal circumstances, I may recommend the preparation of certain estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, health care proxies, living wills, durable powers of attorney, and appointments of agent to control the disposition of remains.
If your estate is large in value, we can discuss strategies available under the tax laws to reduce or eliminate potential transfer tax consequences, so your beneficiaries can receive more assets from your estate.
